I only knew Felicia for a little time. We had class at Southeast together, but I knew that she was an amazing person. I am thankful fo the time that I got to know her, and for the chance to meet her. She had an amazing personality and always had a smile on her face. She loved to talk about her children, and could you tell by the glow she had, that they were the loves of her life. Felicia, you will truly missed. My heart goes out to your children and family. May God be with them, and give them the strength they need during this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Felicia.

Shellie,
I can not really find the right words to say about how deeply sorry that you have lost your loving daughter Felicia. Felicia, Erika, Michael and Derek all had wonderful childhoods growing up on S45th St. They hung out every day during the summer and every night after school. They were all like a little team. I can say from myself and from my family that we all will have you in our thoughts and prayers now and always. I'm sure her little one's will share the beauty of their mother on and on for years to come.
In deepest sympathy,
David, Lori, Michael, Derek, Zachary and Hannah Bash, Waverly, NE

To Felicia’s family,
I was a senior the year that Felicia attended NWU and got to know her through the Step Team and M.O.S.A.I.C., especially when we attended the Big XII Conference. She worked hard, yet was always ready to do something silly if we were getting frustrated. She had a wonderful smile and a big heart. I think I can speak for everyone else on Step Team and M.O.S.A.I.C. in saying that we will truly miss her and offer you our deepest condolences.

Felicia was my student two years ago at Nebraska Wesleyan. She worked so hard and was so passionate about her education, despite the extra struggles she endured because of being a mother. She was such an earnest student and so energized by the Big 12 conference. I have the fondest memories of her and was sorry she could not return to NWU. I was truly astonished to learn of her death at such a young age and am truly saddened for her family, particularly her children whom she clearly adored. I cannot imagine what you must be feeling and am sincerely sorry for your loss. Just know that she was a bright spot in an educator's day and her perseverance while in our class was an inspiration to other young mothers.

We love Felicia so much. She has been a bright and sparkling support and friend for Chloe and I.
All of our memories of "Fish" are happy: her first time baby-sitting for Chloe (Chloe was cutting her first tooth and cried so hard), running through the sprinkler fountains at the zoo, trick-or-treating together, baby-sitting Chloe at Grandma Orland's, visiting her working at the candy shop, seeing her Confirmation, watching her practice step team, May basket deliveries, helping us scrap book, overseeing Chloe's 7th birthday at Valentinaland, watching her grow from a darling young "tween" into a blossoming mother. Our recent conversations have been swapping stories about our children, school, life as a young mother.
Shellie, you are one of my heroes. Your devotion as a mother is unparalleled and I want you to know how amazing that you are.
Chloe and I will always remember Felicia and I thank the Lord for the gift of her friendship.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to Faith, Carter, Shellie, Ed, and Avery, everyone in Felicia's family and to all of her friends that were touched by her exuberance.

To the family of Felicia,
I worked with Felicia at Milder Manor. I enjoyed working with her and helping to train her to her position. We shared many laughs and good times. She and I hit it off immediately. Though I only got the pleasure of knowing her for such a short amount of time, I truly hold a special place for her in my heart. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her witty sense of humor. She is such a special young lady. I hope she is at peace now with the angels and has found what she seeks. I will miss her. Work has not been the same without her this week. We have all shed many tears at work this week. My love goes to you all. I wish the very best for Faith and Carter as they were her pride and joy. My prayers are with you at this very sad time.

I am very grieved that as a family that we were not their for my niece for the saying is true you really don't know how much you care for someone until they are gone. The last time I saw Felecia was at my mothers retirement in June of 2006. I just moved back to Nebraska 2008 and I am sad that I did not take the time to see my neice. However just as I remember my sister Evelyn who is deceased with that great big smile across her face was how I saw Felicia with that great big smile across her face as I was talking to her at my moms retirement party. Mom shellie if you like to have that picture I will get that for you. We are on her grand mother side Lue brown will greatly miss her. My daughter Jeanie had just came back to Nebraska and was starting get back in touch with Felicia and remembering the times they were playing softball and she remember seeing Felecia will greatly miss her. Her cousins Brandon, Amanda, Amber,Tim, James and many more cousins and aunt Vallery, Linda,Paula, and Nora will greatly miss her. I will remember her with that great beautiful smile just as I remember my sister Evelyn. Good-bye my love and may everyone who's live you have touched remember those happy moments they had with you. Love from aunt Dorethy. I remember meeting you for the first time at wal-mart i still see your beautiful smile:)
