Gary Spear
Gary Spear, age 85 of Auburn, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Keith Long of Papillion, NE; sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Suzanne Spear of Overland Park, KS, Chris and Michelle Spear of McLean, VA; grandchildren: Mykayla, McKenzy, and Maleigha Long, Joshua (Codee) and Madison Spear, and James, Anna, Thomas, and Eva Spear; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Visitation will be on Friday, August 9, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5:30 to 7:30. Graveside committal of ashes will take place on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Scribner Cemetery at Scribner, NE.
Memorials suggested to Good Samaritan Society-Auburn, Auburn Trinity Lutheran Church, Nebraska High School Hall of Fame Foundation, or Auburn High School Booster Club.
Services entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
