Emelia Spear Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith Funeral Service & Crematory - Greenville on Mar. 11, 2026.
Greenville - Emelia Carolyn Spear (Emmy) was born straight into the arms of Jesus on March 6th at 11:47pm, weighing 2lbs 11.4oz. She is valued and deeply loved by her family and friends. Although her life here on Earth was short, her legacy will live on, and we will carry her in our hearts forever. Her life was lived in her mommy's belly, but she was an active part of her family already. She loved to dance to worship music, kick her sister during bedtime, and was constantly craving anything sweet. She was affectionately called a little wildflower because of how she was always moving and active. Now, she is dancing through fields of wildflowers with Jesus and gets to worship Him for eternity. While her family is deeply devastated, she didn't get more time here on Earth, they grieve with hope that they will see her again in Heaven and look forward to that day.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 15th at 2:30 pm at Covenant Church followed by a private burial.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Carolyn Buck, and great-grandfather Buddy Bennett.

She is survived by her parents, Camron and Kayla Spear; big sister Elliott Spear; grandparents, Beary and Staci Spear and Everett and Tonya Bennett; aunts and uncles, Mallory and Greg Mercer and Kelsey and Caleb Raftelis; great grandparents, Randy and Carolyn Boyd, Aubrey and Lois Spear, Jr Buck, and Barbara Bennett.
