George Wendel Reichenbach, D.D.S.

George Wendel Reichenbach, DDS., 93, of Lincoln, passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 25, 2024. He was born September 5, 1930, in Lincoln to George W. and Mae Nettie (Moore) Reichenbach, graduated from Lincoln High in 1947 and the University of Nebraska in 1951, served in the US Army, earned his DDS from the University of Nebraska, and was a dentist in Lincoln.
Family members include his wife of 72 years, Patricia (nee Laflin); children Steve (Ellen) Reichenbach, Lincoln, Laurie (James) Gaspar, Vancouver WA, and Richard (Donna) Reichenbach, Lincoln; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and grandson Patrick.
Memorial service followed by reception: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, Grace Chapel, 1345 S. 16th Street.

Steve and family, my prayers are with you all. Steve, I don´t know if you remember but I wrestled with you in high school. Looking at his picture and knowing how you turned out, I figure your dad was a very good man. Seeing the years he was in dental school he was probably friends with a dentist I lived by in Huskerville growing up, Dr. Jim Bloom, who just passed a couple of years ago. My prayers are with your family and I hope that every time your dad enter your thoughts it brings a great memory and a smile to your face. Jeff

Dr. Reichenbach was our family dentist for many years until his retirement. What a great person and skilled cllinician. Condolences to his family.
