Bowling, Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle A. and Will Adler, Lincoln; brother, Christopher A. Bowling, Lincoln; maternal grandparents, Alma and Arnold Dorn, Beatrice; paternal grandmother, Rosalie Lickteig, Hutchinson, Kan.; niece, Neely Adler, Lincoln; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Virgil Meints and Harold Bowling; Aunt Jane Hoyle, Uncle Arlan Meints, Aunt Diana Bowling.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday (9/11/07), Southwood Lutheran Church, 9300 South 40th St. Visitation: noon to 8 p.m. Sunday (9/9/07) and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday (9/10/07), with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m., Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th St. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in care of the family or Luekemia and Lymphoma Society. Online condolences at www.lincolnfh.com.

I wanted to tell you & your family that I am so sorry for the loss of your daugter,sister and grandaughter. I have a 24 year daughter, Jessica who is fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma right now and I can't even begin to imagine your pain. I can't seem to find the right words to express my sympathy for you and I hope that this does not offend you, I just had to say I am sorry for your loss of your precious daughter.

I was in Girl Scouts with Jessica, and I will always remember her being such a sweet girl. Even when we were so young, she was always thoughtful of others. It makes me so sad to think about how the world and her family has just lost such a beautiful soul.

To the Bowling Family...
I had Jessica in 5th grade at Humann Elementary. She stood out in her class. A serious young girl with a quiet sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed having her in class. I am so saddened by your loss. I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful, gentle daughter Jessica.
I have a photo I have kept framed on my dresser from prom night in high school when Jessica and I and some other friends were dressed to the nines and headed out to have fun. I hope you can remember her in times like those, happy and healthy and fun.
