John Lamm Obituary
October 26, 1950 - February 2, 2026
John Nelson Lamm, 75 of Lincoln, Neb. passed away on February 2, 2026 in the presence of his family. John was born on October 26, 1950 in Norfolk, Neb. to Helen and "Bud" Lamm. John was a loving, caring and generous husband, brother, uncle and friend. John, the youngest of five children, grew up in Norfolk, Neb. He graduated from Norfolk High School and served four years in the U.S. navy where he served as petty officer. John attended the University of Nebraska and later graduated from Azusa Pacific University in California where he received his degree in Organizational Business. John retired from the grocery industry in California where he met his wife Marie. They celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary in April. In his retirement, john enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family.
John is survived by his loving wife, Marie; brother, Robert Lamm; sisters-in-law: Barb Lamm, Beth Gendreau, Tami Kiralla, Jackie Kiralla; brothers-in-law: Scott Gendreau and Paul Kiralla; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026 12 to 8 p.m. and family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Butherus Maser & Love funeral home, 4040 A Street. Funeral will be Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Holy Trinity, 6001 A Street, Lincoln, NE. In memory of John, donations can be made to April Samson Cancer Center (Bryan Healthcare) in Lincoln, Neb.
