I knew Jay way back in his college days and when he first was married to Cecilia! I remember them struggling with four kids in a small house in Lincoln, while he went through law school. After graduating he was successful in all he did from raising his family and a great career in Clay Center. Good memories from a long time ago! My deepest sympathy to his family on their loss.

I am very sorry to hear of Jay's death. Jay worked tirelessly for childrens rights when I was a county judge in the 10th District. I admired him both professionally and personally. He was a exceptional person and great family man. He will be missed by the legal community as well as his family and friends. The family has my deepest sympathy. Daniel E. Bryan Jr. District Judge.
