Joyce Lanik Obituary
December 8, 1933 - October 5, 2025
Joyce A. Lanik, 91, of Ceresco, Neb., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, Neb. She was born December 8, 1933, in Wahoo, Neb.
She is survived by her children, Frank (Patricia) Lanik, Dave Lanik, Anne (Randy) Robbins, Gregg (Emily) Lanik, Mitch Lanik, Mary (Bill) Phillips and Ralph (Lisa) Lanik; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Norma Heiser, Kaye Roels and Jeanette Kuhr-Herrera.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Godfrey Lanik; grandchildren, Kastl Lanik, Matthew Styskal and Joel Styskal; parents, Henry and Gladys Kuhr; sister, Martha Rohwer; infant brother, Kenneth Kuhr; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lanik.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday (10/11/2025) 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 214 E. 2nd St., Wahoo, Neb.
Visitation, Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. Rosary followed by the Nurse Honor Guard, all at the church. Interment at St. Mary & St. Patrick Cemetery, Davey, Neb.
Memorials to the Matt Talbot Kitchen, Lincoln, Neb., or the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Memorial, Humbolt, Neb.

I worked with Joyce at St.Elizabeth Hospital. She taught me so much and was always so gracious and kind! God Bless you kids with healing grace, it doesn´t matter how young or old, she will always be your Mom
