Julia Policky Obituary

Julia Marie Policky 95, Columbus, died Friday (05/02/08) at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln.
Rosary: 7 p.m. Tuesday (05/06/08), St. Paulinus, Syracuse. Mass: 11 a.m. Wednesday (05/07/08), St. Anthony's, Columbus. Graveside Service: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (05/07/08), Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln (please enter at Gate #2). Visitation will be held at the rosary and before mass.
Born September 13, 1912 to George and Celestine Bartek at Plasi, Neb. Married Adolph Policky on November 27, 1934. She lived in Brainard, Weston, Syracuse, and Columbus. Member: St. Anthony's and St. Paulinus Altar Societies; Prayer Lines; Pink Sisters of Lincoln. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, prayer, and family.
Survived by: sons, Frank (Lena); Lee (Kim); daughters, Marlene Lowery; and Judy Micari (Gene Groene); 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Lillian (Frank) Pekarek. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph; daughter, Patricia; six brothers; and three sisters.
Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
