Karen Rathje Obituary
She married Steve Rathje of Lincoln on June 15, 1985. The study of birds, animals and poetry were of great interest to her.
Survivors: husband, Steve Rathje; mother, Margaret Pierson, Lincoln; sisters and spouses, Susan and Larry Hoppel, Lincoln, Nancy and George Christatos; brother and spouse, Eric and Peg Pierson; one nephew; four nieces; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by: father, Dr. Kenneth Pierson; grandparents.
Services : 1 p.m. Sunday, Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St. Burial: 1 p.m. Thursday, Wyuka Cemetery. Memorials to: Pierson Wildlife Museum, Neligh.

Aunt Margaret, Susan, Eric & Nancy, I was very saddened to hear of Karen's passing. I am sorry I was not able to get back for the service. I am sure that Karen is now free from all of her pain and suffering. Our thoughts are with all of you and the rest of the family. With Love, Donna & Denny
