Kenneth Maxwell Obituary

Kenneth J. Maxwell, M.D., 60, Omaha, died July 6, 2005, after a courageous three year battle with prostate cancer. Born, Lincoln (11/29/44). Dr. Maxwell was a dedicated and compassionate physician, specializing in gastroenterology with Internal Medicine Associates for 29 years. He was devoted to his family and friends, who will all miss him dearly.

Survivors: wife, Kiley; children, Kenneth Jr. and fiancee Lynn Ciciulla, Thomas and wife Kelley, Chelsea, Michaela; brother, Paul J. Maxwell, DDS and wife Jean; sister, Janet Maxwell Stucky and husband Don Stucky, M.D.; as well as many extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Paul J. Maxwell, M.D.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Countryside Community Church, 8787 Pacific St., Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials: Eppley Institute for Cancer Research, c/o UN Foundation, 8712 W. Dodge Road, Omaha 68114.

My condolences to the family and many friends of Ken Maxwell. May God give you each the peace that passes understanding. Ken was a highschool classmate and long time friend.
