Marion Elwood Wenzel, son of Fred C. and Ethel L. (Frolich) Wenzel, died July 29, 2024, in Syracuse, NE. He was born on July 20, 1928, in Lincoln, NE. He was raised on the Steven Creek family farm, attending Grandview District #110 and Northeast High School graduating in 1946.
Marion Wenzel was preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley; and all eight of his siblings and their spouses. Surviving are his children: Mary (Richard) Snyder, John Wenzel, and Mike Wenzel; grandsons and two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitations will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hammons Family Funeral Chapel in Weeping Water, then 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Christian Church in Elmwood, NE, an interment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Elmwood Christian Church.

I knew and took care of Marion for a brief time at Good Samaritan Society. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers out for all of the family.
