Marlene Thompson Power

March 29, 1931 - November 15, 2025

Marlene Thompson Power, age 94, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on March 29, 1931 in Charles City, Iowa to Joseph Belisle and Lucile Nugent. One of 4 children, her siblings included two sisters and a brother.

On June 17, 1950, Marlene married Keith J. Thompson Jr, the love of her life. Together they built a family rooted in warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. A lifelong and loyal fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, she rarely missed a game and celebrated each season with enthusiasm.

Marlene will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her enduring resilience, and the love she freely shared. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close.
