Martha Arlene (Larkins) Drake, 85, of Western, passed away April 29, 2025, in Hebron. She was born December 17, 1939, to Vern & Helen (Jensen) Larkins in rural Jamestown, KS. Services will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. St. John's United Church of Christ in Western, NE with Rev. Sandy Denton officiating. Luncheon will follow services at the Western Legion. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is assisting with arrangements. www.gerdesmeyerfh.com

My condolences to Martha Drake's family. I worked with Martha in the 1960s for the Nebraska Department of Insurance. She was a hard worker and friend to everyone. I am sure her family will greatly miss her.
