Matthew Ethridge
November 8, 2022
Matthew Ethridge went to be with Jesus November 8, 2022, with Michelle, his companion of 19 years by his side, at home after a battle with cancer. Matthew loved simple things like watching planes take off and land. He enjoyed his train set and anything to do with trains. He liked taking things apart and putting them back together. He was a talented roller skater both indoors and out, often seen rolling around all over his hometown, Lincoln.
He loved his border collie, Marie, with all his heart. Matthew was a gentle, kind and caring man who always thought of others before himself. Everyone who knew or met Matthew couldn't help but like him. Matthew will be sorely missed.
Matthew is preceded in death by his father Clarence Ethridge. He is survived by his companion Michelle, mother Eloise Harris, brothers Michael, Mark, Ronnie and sister Shelly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at wyuka.com

My condolences to his family & loved ones This explains Matt so well. He was considered family & I will never forget himMatt was very caring- helped when he could, he would change the brakes on my car- anything I needed. Made me laugh, was my brother Jr's best friends. I remember hanging with the boys-- Jr, Kirk & Matt! They would all come on Christmas & other Holidays. Even at an Adult skate night he would pop in at the ArenaI cant count how many times I saw him rolling on the public streets on his roller skates! Matt was such a loving guy & he will truly be missed
