Matthew Brian Hinkley
October 25, 1983 - October 13, 2021
Matt grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska where he eventually married his high school sweetheart Liz Hinkley (Pflug). They married at the ripe old age of 20 and 19 and moved to Florida where Matt had finished his college degree in computer animation at Full Sail University. Some new career opportunities led him and Liz to New Hampshire where they built their photography business, Hinkley Photo. They have been blessed to capture some of the most special moments of people's lives throughout New England.
Matt, Liz, and their daughter Rylee (12) have loved living on a picturesque lake in Plymouth, NH. Matt's summers were filled with family, friends, and outdoor activities galore (boating, fishing, paddle boarding, golfing, hiking to name a few). Winters were filled with working on projects, playing cribbage, and snow skiing. He loved bragging about reaching one hundred days of skiing each year.
There were a few things that everyone who knew Matt would agree on. He loved his family above everything else. He was a great friend; he was the kind of guy who would persistently call to catch up, chat about the last Patriots game, or make sure you jumped on your Xbox to play video games with him. Extroverted to a fault, he would strike up conversations with complete strangers and made new friends wherever he went. You could always tell he was around by his loud and infectious laugh. And he was stubborn. So stubborn, that he decided he packed his 37 years with so many fun times and memories that he could leave us all early and sit next to Jesus and wait for the rest of us slow pokes to get there.
Matt is survived by his wife (Liz) and daughter (Rylee), dad (Brian), mom (Gail), sister (Melissa) and her husband (Quinn) and their sons (Bo & Mack), grandparents (John & Dorothy Goble), and many extended family members.

Matt was a shining light. I worked with Matt at Full Sail University. He was funny, caring and very talented. We were all blessed to know him. He has left the earth far too soon. Liz and Rylee will have an amazing guardian angel. My sympathy to his family and friends.

My heart is broken for your beautiful family and I´ve been praying for all of you so much. I never met Matt, but feel like I know him from the wonderful story about his life that was shared here and there´s no doubt I would have loved him.
Even though our paths haven´t crossed for a long time, I´ll always consider you a special family for many reasons, and I hurt so much for you.
I know you´ll be reunited forever with Matt in heaven someday. Until then, may the Lord envelope all of you in his arms of love.

I just hurt with you at the loss of your Child. I lost my 47 year old son this year also. It is a different kind of hurt to lose a child. When you have a child that is living in Heaven, you miss them so bad that you just wish that you could go there to visit them. I will tell you that it gets so you can cope with them being separated from you but you will never be the same again. I know that you all have such a strong faith, which will help you with this loss. God does help you through this. Lots of prayers go out to you all. I am just so sorry that you have to go through this. Dianne

I work at Owl´s Nest Golf Course where Matt Hinkley was a member. Hinkley was my favorite member, and I always referred to him as "The Man". I´m going to miss seeing him top tee shots and miss putts next year.

Dear Brian and Gail,
We want you to know that we, along with many others, are lifting you, Liz, Riley and your family up in prayer. Losing a child has to be one of the hardest, if not the hardest, things in life. Matt was so full of life and love. May God give you comfort and strength in this most difficult time.
In the deep, deep love of Jesus,

I am so so sorry. Heartbroken for Liz, Riley, and your entire family. Matt ....the precious memories of your young son...grown up to be a wonderful husband and father. Oh the pain on earth to let go of your child, husband, and father. We will be in continuous prayer lifting each of you day by day to some form of healing. Please feel our love filled with warm gentle hugs and sympathy. Psalm 139 ...God knows the number of our days, even before we are woven together. We are so so so sorry and grieving with you. God bless each one of you, and give you peace that only HE can give. Loving you from over the miles.
