Charles "Chuck" Frank Rossoll III, 76, passed away Saturday March 14, 2026 at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, CT.

Chuck was born December 26, 1949 in Manchester, NH the son of Charles Frank Rossoll Jr. and Doreen (Orme) Rossoll.

Chuck spent most of his childhood living in NH with the exception of years being in Holyoke, MA. He moved to Lincoln, NH in 1961 and graduated from Lin-Wood High in 1967. He was active in basketball, soccer and track. In 1971 he graduated from UNH in Durham, NH with a BS in Hydrology.

After graduating from college he got a van and traveled to Colorado to ski and worked for a cobbler learning the trade. In March of 1972 he got a job offer as a Hydrologist in EPA in Boston, MA. He stayed in the Boston area until he married a woman from Maine in 1985. Chuck moved up there and first worked for the State of Maine Environmental Management and later for ABB water quality. He lived in Topsham, ME from 1986 - 2010 until they divorced. He stayed in Maine even after retirement living in Brunswick, ME. He made many trips to CT to help care for his father and eventually moved down to Norwich.

Chuck never had children of his own, but was a great entertainer to his 3 nephews and any other kids that happened to be around. They always looked forward to visits.

He is preceded in death by his parents Doreen Orme Rossoll and Charles F Rossoll Jr

He is survived by brother Dick Rossoll and wife Cindy from Lebanon, NH. Their son Mark Rossoll and wife Katie and their children Alyssa and Austin in Walpole, MA. His sister Cheryl Rossoll Valpey and husband Wes from Medford, ME and their two sons Sam and Ben.

His generous, animated and fun loving personality will be so missed by many.
