Joseph Warzecha Obituary
Joseph was predeceased by his wife Julia Warzecha; he is survived by his children: Michelle Giroux, Phillip Warzecha, David Warzecha, Anna Bender and Joseph Warzecha Jr.
Calling hours will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Avenue, Norwich. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at St. Joseph's Church, 120 Cliff Street, Norwich, followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph's cemetery, 815 Boswell Avenue, Norwich.

Michelle, Phillip, David,Anna, Joe Jr.
My deepest sympathy for your lost. I have many fond memories of your Dad. Here are a few.
1. The time when he was in the service, in Cuba. Power was out due to a storm, lines were down, he climbed up the pole and attached the wires and power was restored and he was awarded a strip for this. (no fear)
2. His stories of taking his row boat across the Yantic river. He was going to the Norwich dump to pick up scrap metal for resale. (always found a way to make money)
3. Times we spent cutting wood each fall for the family furnace. Somehow, the city of Norwich dumped their tree trimmings on the side of his yard.(free wood).
I feel very lucky to have an uncle who gave me so many wonderful memories. I will cherish them for the rest of my life..
