Michael D. Haskins, 76, of Lincoln, passed away on July 9, 2024, with family by his side.
He was born on December 29, 1947, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Bill and Addie Lou (Meier) Haskins. Michael worked as a City Inspector for Sidney, NE, for many years, then moving to Lincoln working with the Department of Roads.
Family members include wife Rebecca of nearly 46 years; children, Chad and Erin Haskins; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Kay.
No formal services will be held.
Memorials may be given to the family.

Good thing I was sitting down. This was the first I've heard of Michael's passing. He was my first, first cousin on my mother's side. Being 8 years old, I was there to play w/him, take him in the stroller around our Gma's block, took him to his first movie, played w/him & his train, rubbed his back when he took his naps, rocked him when he had colic. The last time I saw him was at my mother's funeral in CA, July 2003. I have many good memories & pictures of Addie Lou, Kay Marie & Michael!!
My sympathy goes to Michael's family.
