Paul was a quiet soul around me. I just learned today that he passed. I would see him in adoration. Devout, quiet and you could tell he had holiness and innocence to him. I traded a few conversations with him over the years. Always looked up to his presence as calming and serene. I am truly saddened by his passing.

A rarity in the sports world these days, Jabo excelled in all sports (except golf). I'll always remember going to the Negro League Museum to see Barry Bonds when he came to KC. I have many great memories from the days at old St. T's and Pius. Rest peacefully.

Paul was a very special person, we were friends at Ascension when I I was in charge of Adoration and could always count on Paul when I needed help. Such a generous, caring person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family. For over a decade, my wife and I see him at the Ascension Adoration chapel every Friday morning at 2 am when we start our holy hour. We have a wooden cross that he made for us in our prayer room at home. Hundreds of similar crosses were mailed to remote areas in India and other countries where Paul introduced Jesus in their midst. His humble but noble efforts won many hearts and minds for the Lord. He has such a blessed soul indeed! He is a man of few words but the depth of his spiritual life made him closer to God that he was called early. We will remember him in our prayers. We really miss him when we go for adoration at 2 am!

Prayers and sympathy to the family of Paul. I went to grade school and high school with Paul. I was fortunate to know him. He was fun, but also focused on what is important in life.

I am Paul's oldest Brother. We were 7 brothers and now we are 6, until we join Paul in heaven someday (Paul won the prize and got to heaven 1st - whereas we all have to hope we can get there someday). Love you Paul.
