Paul E. Petersen, 90, of Malcolm, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born in Omaha, to Henry and Kitty (Buhl) Petersen on July 23, 1935. Member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. US Army Veteran.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Helen Petersen; children, Roxanne, Craig (Teri); grandchildren, Alex, Noelle (Julian) Drake, Miranda, Gwynn; nieces and nephew, Carolyn, Carl, and Jeannie.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kirk Petersen; parents, Henry and Kitty Petersen; siblings, Henry B. Petersen, Kay Larson.
Visitation for Paul will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2025, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2244 Northwest 126th Street, Lincoln, NE, 68528.
Graveside services will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 2300 South 78th Street, Omaha, 68124, at 2:15 p.m.
