Raymond "Ray" D. Hostetler
October 16, 1935 - November 8, 2021
Raymond "Ray" D. Hostetler 86, Milford, died Monday, Nov. 8, in Milford. He was born October 16, 1935, on a farm near Wood River, Nebraska to Jacob and Verda (Stutzman) Hostetler. Retired salesman, distributor of petroleum products throughout southeast Nebraska.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judy, Milford; children and spouses, Debbie and Jeff Meininger, Kenneth and Sue Hostetler, all of Grand Island, Shelly Meininger and Daryl Petzel, St. Paul, NE, Kevin and Lori Hostetler, Omaha, Cindy and John Blaisdell, Colorado Springs, Connie and Garry Hillmer, Central City, Tammy and Rob Potter, Ashland, Sandi and Doug Foust, Shawnee, KS, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, tw great-great-grandsons, brothers and spouses, Jake and Ginada Hostetler, Tuscola, TX, Arlan and Judy Hostetler, Boelus, NE, sister, Fern Jantzi, Cairo, NE, sister-in-law, Joy Hostetler, Rockville, NE. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister-in-law, Ervin and Karen Hostetler, Delmer Hostetler and a brothers-in-law, Clair Jantzi and Lyle Jantzi.
Due to Covid-19 in family there is a NEW DATE for Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Grace Missionary Church, Milford, with Rev. Andrew Petro officiating. Interment is in Blue Mound Cemetery, Milford. Memorials have been established to the Grace Missionary Church or to the Senior Center of Milford.
