Richard Conradt Obituary
January 5, 1932 - October 6, 2024
Richard B. Conradt, 92, Lincoln, passed away on October 6, in the presence of his family. He was a loving, caring and generous husband, father and grandfather. He loved and was proud of his Roman Catholic faith. Richard was born in 1932. He was the ninth of 12 children and grew up on the family farm in Steinauer, Neb. He graduated from Steinauer High School and served four years in the Navy. Richard and Kathryn were married in 1955. Together they reared five children. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary in September. Richard owned and operated Conradt Heating and Air Conditioning. In retirement, he helped his children build and remodel their homes and he loved playing golf.
Richard is survived by his wife, Kathryn; sisters, Nora Hugo, Oliva Kalin, and Ruth Wenzl; children, Peggy Siske, Susan Drew, Richard J. Conradt, Bill Conradt and Sharon Johnson; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 14, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Lincoln. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2 p.m., at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Steinauer, Neb. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, from 6 to 7 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m., at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, Lincoln. Donations in Richard's memory can be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
