Robert Ralph Gardner, 77, of Lincoln passed away September 27, 2025. Born March 1, 1948, in Lincoln, Neb. to Robert Ralph and Darleen (Hanneman) Gardner, Sr.
Robert retired from the State of Nebraska as an insurance examiner.
Family members include his wife, Janet; children, Seth Walter Gardner (Uyen Thi), Lincoln, Laura Bartolome (Scott), Richardson, Texas, Linda Longe (Mike), Hendersonville, Texas, and Amy Rawson, Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Carter Bartolome, Logan Bartolome (Lexi), Aaron Longe (Lauren), Will Longe (Ashley), Madeline Rawson-Riley (Andy), and Savannah Gardner; great-grandchildren, Lonnie Reilly and Miles Longe; sister, Lynne Chudyk (Steve), Scottsdale, Ariz; niece, Crescent. Preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O St.
