Melodee and family.....

We are so very sad to learn of Roger's passing and even more saddened that we missed his memorial service on Saturday! We returned from a motorcycle trip to the Black Hills at noon on Saturday and had not yet tackled our newspapers. We learned just today that he had passed on! We'll never forget Roger's "winning" smile and our Tyler will be forever grateful for Roger's part in helping him locate a vehicle last year.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the coming days. If we can help you in any way, we hope you'll let us know!

Melodee, Mike, Jenny and familys. I am so sorry for your great loss. Some of the fondest memories I have in Cheyenne was all of you as my neighbors. What fun we all had and what a gift it was to spend time with you all. I so remember the fun parties and Roger's quick wit and sense of humor. Even over the miles and years when we had a chance to talk it was like old times. He will be missed. My love and condolences to your all.

I will miss him. My family and I would not have had the opportunity to live in Nebraska and made this our home, if not for Roger. He was a great mentor, teacher, father figure and person, the type of person that people looked up to and wanted to be like. I owe my success to him. I look forward to playing golf with him again someday, like the days we played at Pebble Beach and he said " If this isn't heaven, its gotta be pretty close".........

Roger and I were neighbors between Salem and Montrose, South Dakota when we were kids. The first football game I played when I was a freshman we went down to Montrose. Roger took the opening kickoff and came upfield right at me. I took the easy way out and dove at his feet. He ran right over me, I got up and wobbled to the sidelines and my coach met me there and said GREAT TACKLE!!!. If he only knew that I bailed out he would have had a cat. Roger was a great friend and I am sorry for your loss. He is a legendary athlete and man in South Dakota to this day. Cam Lind, 604 E. Sunnybrook Drive. Sioux Falls, S. D. 57105.

To the Anderson Family,

I send my deepest regards and am very sorry that I am unable to make the services. Being around the dealerships for the last 14 years of my life let me get to know Roger pretty well. Whenever he was around he always made time to talk to me when I would stop in his office and he was always concerned about my well being. He took interest in the things that I was doing throughout my life and always had a smile on his face. I will miss him greatly.
