Roger Burgason Obituary
February 4, 1937 - September 25, 2025
Roger E. Burgason was born on February 4, 1937 in Stromsburg, Neb., to Milton and Millie (Kreis) Burgason, and passed away into the arms of Jesus on September 25, 2025 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
Roger attended Stromsburg Public Schools graduating in 1954. In 1955 he joined the Navy, serving four years. In December of 1960, Roger was united in marriage to Sharon Colberg. To this union, three children were born. Roger was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2021 and moved into the nursing home in January of 2023. Those left to mourn Roger's passing are his wife, Sharon; daughter Kelly (Tom) Humphrey; sons Todd (Susan) Burgason, and Tedd (Christel) Burgason, all of Lincoln; grandchildren Emma (Brad) Shaner, Abby (Kramer) Erb, Jenna Burgason, Tyler Burgason, Tally Humphrey, Teddi Humphrey; and great-granddaughter Kamryn Burgason. Sister, Peg Zimmerman; brother-in-law and wife Mike and Beki Colberg; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at the Stromsburg Baptist Church on Sunday, October 26th, from 2 to 5 p.m.
