Having moved to Lincoln, NE from NYC to attend UNL, I met Steve along with Bing Chen. We socialized together, eating at the same dining hall, playing basketball, etc. Steve was very friendly - easy for others to like.
We lost touch after leaving UNL but reconnected several years ago through Bing Chen. We communicated through phone calls and emails. His religious conviction were very strong, putting belief into action with his medical skills and volunteer work to help others. Steve was a wonder full person loved and appreciated by many. He will definitely be missed.

Dr. Grenier was my family doctor in the late 1970´s in Lincoln. At the time I was a single parent with a toddler. I was ill and needed to be hospitalized but resisted as I had no one to watch my child. Dr. Grenier offered to watch my son to allow me to go into the hospital! I ended up having other arrangements to take care of my son which allowed me to take care of my medical needs but I never forgot the Dr.´s generosity! We were both Christians and never forgot to talk about how the Lord was working in our lives! I´m sure Dr. Grenier is celebrating finally being at home with his Lord God and savior! Condolences to all the members of his family!

I remember him, he lived next door to me on Franklin St, my best memory is me calling him up and asking him if he would take a look at my son, Dr Grenier had just come home and he came next door to see my son who had fallen and hit the back of his head on a cement floor, I was a young mom and had no clue my son had a serious concussion, Dr Grenier examined him then called St E´s and got emergency care for my son. Thank you Dr Grenier for the man you were.
