Thomas Gourlay Obituary
April 26, 2025
Thomas S. Gourlay, passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on April 26, 2025, at the age of 56, in Lincoln, Neb. He was a 1986 graduate of Pius X High School and earned his degree at UNL. Tom was the business owner of Proforma since 2004. Tom was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Tom loved his family and was so proud of his three children. He loved his fiancé, friends, country club, and parents dearly. Tom will be missed in all future adventures of life, but will always be by our side. Tom has given the gift of organ donation to countless people and will live on in others. Tom left behind his beloved fiancé, Merry Morrison; parents, Mary and Jim Gourlay; his children, Harrison and wife Emma, Hannah and significant other Hunter Bond, and his youngest daughter Libby. In addition, Merry's six children. Tom is preceded in death by his brother, Dan Gourlay; and grandparents.
Mass will be held at Cathedral of the Risen Christ on May 1st, at 10 a.m. Private burial with immediate family will follow at a later date. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Gourlay Family for later designation.

Hi Merry, Mary and Jimmy, and family. We worked with you and Tom for so many years. Always a pleasure. We just don't have the words to express how tragic this is. You are in our prayers.

You don´t know me, but we are your neighbors. We live on Wilderness Ridge Drive. Your loss is deeply felt by our whole community. You have been in my constant prayers and I am so sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking.
I bet Tom was a great guy, and in his passing, he has given gifts far beyond imagination. He has saved the life of complete strangers and that deserves our gratitude and praise.
I pray that the good memories you hold so dear will bring you comfort.
