Dear Mrs. Swanson and Libby,
I was so sorry to read of Mr. Swanson's death. He was a good and trusted friend to my parents, and I will always remember his delightful sense of humor.

He was the keeper of the seal & custodian of University records. A
curmudgeon and wit. Loved by a few, Bill was a friend to all who knew him. Truly a very kind fellow underneath his somewhat gruff outward demeanor. A real gentleman. RIP.
