Albert T. Chiappetta

Albert T. Chiappetta RACINE – Albert T. Chiappetta, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Albert was born in Racine to Peter and Aquila Chiappetta on June 8, 1929 and was a Racine resident his entire life. In his early years, Albert attended Lakeside School and graduated from Washington Park High School. He retired from Young Radiator after more than 30 years of service. Albert was one of the few surviving members of Roma Hall Italian Club – Lakeside and a lifelong member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Surviving are his sisters, Rose (Walter) Steidl and Eva Rawley; brother, Arthur (Mary) Chiappetta; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Aquila Chiappetta; sisters, Mary (Ernie) Rossi and Jill (Bill) Wade; and brother-in-law, Robert Rawley. Funeral services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. Private entombment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery Garden Crypts. The Chiappetta family would like to extend a very special thank you to Paula & Bill @ Wells Brothers Restaurant for their thoughtfulness and kindness in past years, as well as sincere gratitude to Tommy @ Dickie’s Bar & the entire Dickie’s family for their care, love and compassion for our brother, affectionately known as “Guido”.
