Athena Baker Obituary

STURTEVANT - Athena V. Baker, 81, passed away in the Aurora Family Zilber Hospice Center, in Wauwatosa, on Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was born in Kenosha County on June 6, 1936, the daughter of Jim and Helen Duncan. On October 19, 1957, in St. Edward Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Rudy Baker. Athena was a gourmet cook. She dedicated her life to her family and she will be dearly missed by all of them, including her best four-legged friend, Rosie. Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years, Rudy; their son, Danny; grandchildren, Rudy Steinhoff, and Kayla Baker; and the love of everyone’s life, great granddaughter, Savannah Lee Steinhoff. In addition to her parents, Athena was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy, and daughter, Linda. In keeping with her wishes a private service was held.
