Bernadette (Bernie) Lasecki passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA, February 8, 1929, daughter of the late John and Rose (Nee: Jasien) Suski. Loving wife of 51 years to the late John Lasecki.
Mother of Barbara (Jim) Rasmussen, LaVerne Spang and the late Larry (Ellen) Lasecki. Grandmother to Ron (Rachel) Spang, Jessica Lasecki, Paul (Chrissy) Spang, Nick (Angie) Rasmussen, Jon Lasecki. Great grandma to Zoe, Tea, Lilo, Jax, Ben, Brooke, Ali, Pierce, Katie, Willow, Farrah.
Survived by sister, Pat Edwards and special friend and sister-in-law, Beverly Lasecki and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by husband, John; son, Larry and son-in-law, Ron.
Bernie was a devout Catholic, her relationship with God was the cornerstone of her life. Those who knew her will remember her faith filled spirit, kindness and a person of unwavering passion. Her commitment to her family was a testament to a life well-lived. Her spirit remains a guiding light & her memories a treasure cherished by all who were fortunate to cross her path.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 27, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, with Rev. Marko Valentini officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Thursday at church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at St. Adelbert Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Rest in peace dear Mother and thank you for the light you brought into this world.
