Brian Duffy Obituary

RACINE - Brian H. Duffy, 87, passed away Thursday November 19, 2015 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1928 in Eau Claire, WI the son of Hugh and Florence (Nee; Larson) Duffy. Brian was married to Irma Ziegenbein who preceded him in death. Brian was employed as a truck driver for 29 years with Briggs and later with Vulcan Materials. Survivors include his 5 children; Susan Duffy, Patrick Duffy, Steven (Ruth) Duffy, Barbara Duffy, and Jon ( Becky) Duffy, 8 grandchildren; Brian (Donna) Sean, Kevin, Paul, Neil, Glen, Ryan, and Colin Duffy. He is further survived by a sister Anna Marie (Donald) Graham, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, a son Michael, 2 brothers John and Delos, and 3 sisters Patricia, Betty and Mary Jane. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for Brian’s life will be held Sunday December 20, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Sr. Karen Vollmer, O.P. officiating. The family will receive guests from 1 pm Sunday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be decided at a later date by the family.
