Bryan Weems Obituary

FORT WORTH, TX - Bryan C. Weems, 41, formerly of Racine, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 1, 2012, due to a motorcycle accident. Bryan was born in Hattiesburg, MS, January 10, 1971, son of Billy W. Weems and Kristine M. (Nee: Olson) Buscemi. He was a resident of Racine up until this past September when he relocated to Texas. Bryan was a graduate of William Horlick High School "Class of 1989". Bryan was an extremely talented athlete and was exceptional in volleyball, soccer and baseball. After graduation, Bryan carried his passion for baseball to the softball field and was still in numerous leagues. He also played in tournaments and was an umpire in his spare time. He was infamously known in southeastern WI as "two-five". He was last employed by Thermadyne Inc. Bryan touched the lives of many people with his generosity, his final gift being an organ donor. And as his youngest son said, "Daddy isn't going to heaven, he is going to softball paradise". He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his five children, Ashley, Briana, Justin, Bryon, and Aryzona; his fiancée, Jacki Mallek and her four children, Jake, Karleigh, Kelsi, and Jeremy; his parents, Bill Weems, Kris Buscemi (John Druktenis), stepfather, Joe Buscemi; sisters, Tonya (Brian) Goepfert, Sarah Buscemi, Becky Buscemi, Regan Weems, Ashley Weems; his grandma, Betty Trossen; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Inez Weems, Roland Olson; great-grandparents, Harold (Agnes) Hegge; and cousin, Tyler Trossen. Rev. Warren William will be officiating a Memorial Service to be held at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Ave, on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 11 am. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Northshore Bank Acct ending in 9975. A benefit is also being held for hospital bills and his children on March 25, 2012, at Fountain Banquet Hall, 8505 Durand Ave, in Sturtevant from 2 until 9 pm. I can't believe it's been this long...I still wish I hadn't missed your phone call while I was grocery shopping because I missed talking to you and then the I woke up and you were gone... I think of you often my friend. Master of Puppets will hold a special place in my heart. I'm so grateful we had those memories in high school and even more blessed we were able to reconnect on Facebook. I'll see you again when my innings are up.

To my dear son - words cannot express how I am feeling right now. I feel so alone in this world knowing I will never see your face, your smile or your laugh. Children are not suppose to go before thier parents and now we have two of you up in heaven. I don't think I will ever get over your loss but I do know you are in the hands of God and with the people we love that have gone before you. Just remember - Now I lay me down to sleep ....
love you will all my heart. mommy

Oh Bryan, I go to bed without you every night hoping and praying that I will wake up and it is all a bad nightmare.... I just don't know where I fit in and what I am supposed to do now. We had so many plans. I ache from the depths of my soul. I will never be the same. Until we meet again, know that I LOVE YOU!

RIP brother. It is still so hard to believe...how did our time together go so fast? I will hold onto and cherish our many memories together until we meet again.

Still can't believe this is it...No more me getting mad at you for drinking the last bud light lime at Remo's... Lol. No more teasing my dogs with the dang laser light and laughing for hours on end about it...No more teasing me just because that's what big brothers do to make their little sisters tougher... No more protecting me from the sleaze balls at the bar... No more hand me down softball bags... But most importantly, no more smiles, no more laughs, no more hugs... Just memories of all the awesome times we had together... Keep the part of my heart that you took with safe... I love you brother!

I went to high school with Bryan and then we lost touch until Facebook. I cannot express how sorry I am that he is not here any more, to make us all laugh. He was a great guy, one in a million. I cried so hard the night he passed away. I wish I could be there to send Bryan off in style, but I am unable to get off of work.
My deepest sympathies go out to Bryan's family and our many shared friendships we have with Bryan. Rest in Peace my friend.. we'll see you again some day.

It only took 1 weekend of softball in Kentucky 4 him 2 already feel like a father figure 2 me not only on the softball diamond but off. From sharing stories of sporting events to sharing stories about kids with him & his fiance he was just so joyful. He will be in my thoughts & will always be looking over the diamond miss u 25.
