Daniel M. Lemke

May 4, 1954 - January 25, 2025

Daniel M. Lemke, born to Eternal Life January 25, 2025, age 70 years. Brother of Steve (former wife, Janis) Lemke of Racine, David (wife, Kathleen Gararerk) Lemke of South Milwaukee, and Pamela (husband, Dave) Scheffler of Wisconsin Dells. Uncle of Shane (wife, Natalie) Lemke, Michael (wife, Wendy) Jensen, Amy (Lloyd) Crom, and Hayden Lemke. Great-uncle of Max, Charlie, August, and Jackson. Further survived by many beloved uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, June (née Lotharius) and Milton Lemke, and stepfather, Chuck Vargo.

Dan proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as a welder at Ec Styberg Engineering Company in Racine for 24 years. His hobbies included photography, fishing, and hiking.

Dan will be buried in a private ceremony with military honors at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date. Memorials to St. Joseph Church in Racine, where he was a member for many years, are appreciated.

Dan was a kind and gentle soul and will missed by those fortunate to have known him.
