Frank Supko Obituary

Frank Supko passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, his Lord, and Savior on Friday, August 29th, following a very brief hospice stay at Aurora Burlington Hospital. Frank was born in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1939. Frank joined the army at the age of 17 and enlisted in the Special Forces Green Beret. He worked for Western Publishing Company until his retirement in 1999. He married the love of his life, Judy, in 1972, and they relocated to Heber Springs, Arkansas, following his retirement. He spent most days fishing the Little Red River for trout and friending the stray cats. They moved back to Wisconsin in 2010 and settled in Burlington to be near their children and grandchildren, who now have many memories to cherish until they meet again.

Frank will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Judy, children Wendy Cole, Wade (Idy) Nelson, Jody (Andre) Antreassian, Daughter-in-law Judy Nelson and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother, Paul Supko, and nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Supko, his son Brett Nelson, his sister Frances Mantay, and Bob Cole. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at Infusino's Banquet Hall, Rapids Drive, Racine on Monday, September 8th. Visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., service at 11:30.

May Frank rest in peace with the Lord. Frank was my neighbor - always had a smile and friendly hello as well as a helping hand when I needed one. He will be missed.

Gosh...it seems like only yesterday that we were playing cards and enjoying each other's company in Arkansas. We loved Frank's German potato salad. He is now in Good Hands. So sorry for the lost to the family.
