Geraldine Leydel Obituary

BURLINGTON - Geraldine H. Leydel, 75, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Aurora Memorial Hospital-Burlington. Born in Chicago on January 20, 1942, she was the daughter of Irving Sr. and Helen Heyl. She spent the majority of her life in the Chicago area where she graduated from high school. She moved to Burlington 8 years ago. Geraldine retired from the healthcare system where she worked as a Dietician in the Chicago area. She was an avid reader and loved to do crossword puzzles. She is survived by her sons, Arthur (Dutch) Leydel and Kelly (Teddee) Leydel; grandchildren, Noah, Gary, Brandon, Adam, Brian Jr. and Laura. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, brothers, Mike Heyl and Irv Heyl and sister, Kathy Bass. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, son, Robin Leydel and daughter, Kimberlee Moreno.
