Guadalupe Frias Obituary

RACINE - Guadalupe A. 'Hongo' Frias, 70, was called home by our Lord on Friday afternoon, February 29, 2008, in Wheaton Franciscan - St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born June 14, 1937, in Natalia, Texas, the son of Condelario and Herana (nee: Ramos) Frias. Hongo was a Foundry Worker for many years and a member of Cristo Rey Parish. He enjoyed painting and spending time with his great- nieces and great-nephews. Survivors include his son, Mario (Erica) Frias of Racine; two brothers, Alex Frias and Manuel (Mary Ellen) Frias, both of San Antonio, Texas; a sister-in-law, Lusia Rodriguez of Racine; and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, and great-nephews, other relatives, and friends. The memory of our loved one will remain forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be Wednesday evening, March 5, 2008, at 7 p.m. in the funeral home, Fr. John D. Aiello officiating. Burial will be in Devine Cemetery, Devine, Texas. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
