Guy Christensen RACINE — Mr. Guy Christensen, 62, passed away at home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle over pancreatic cancer for 17 months. Guy was born in Racine to Carolyn (nee: Moeller) Bruno and the late Verne Christensen on January 11, 1952. Guy was united in marriage to Sherri (nee: Bush) on March 8, 1977. He was a manufacturing supervisor at KMC in Port Washington. He was a hardworking and giving person devoted to his family. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a bowler and an enthusiastic sports fan. Guy was a gifted woodworker and a member of a local golf league for more than 18 years. Guy is survived by his wife and best friend, Sherri; sons, Zach (Kora) and Adam (Heather); grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kody, Lily, Paige and Kaiser; mother, Carolyn Bruno; brothers, Allen Collins and Chris (Sylvia) Christensen; sister, Donna Baum; many other relatives; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Verne; step-mother, Connie Christensen; step-father, Larry Bruno; cousin, Galen Simons; uncle, Robert Simons; brother-in-law, Richard Baum; and best friend, Ron Powell. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM with Colleen Vice officiating.
