HAROLD F. CASTALDO

RACINE - Harold F. Castaldo, age 88, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center. Harold was born in New York, NY, October 22, 1921 son of the late James and Anna (Nee: Valenti) Castaldo. Harold served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1949. In 1959 he was united in marriage to Wilma R. Wylie. She preceded him in death on August 22, 1992. Harold was involved with scouting while raising his children. He will be dearly missed. Surviving are his children, Harold F. Castaldo II (fiancée Chandra), Michael B. Castaldo (fiancée Colleen), Theresa J. Castaldo, Anna M. (Audelio) Barron, SSgt. Frank A. (Jodi) Castaldo United States Army Iraq, Victoria S. Brown (Fiancé Michael), Anita L. Castaldo, and Phillip (Janine) Patrick; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister-in-law, Marilyn Houk; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 14, 2009, 12 P.M. (noon) at Maresh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home, with Reverend John D. Aiello officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Monday at the funeral home 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
