Harry Drechsler

January 23, 1933 - October 22, 2024

Harry N. Drechsler, 91, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home.

Born in Pittsville, WI, on January 23, 1933, he was the son of Henry and Lina (nee Dolato) Drechsler. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Harry worked as a pressman at Western Printing in Racine. After retiring, he bought "Beachview," a local bar in Browns Lake. He also spent time in Port Charlotte, FL. He was a skilled builder and constructed two family homes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing Euchre, and was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He also enjoyed traveling and socializing with his many, many friends.

Harry is survived by his children: Debra (Thomas) Pate, Lynn (John) Parker, Lori Barnes, Kent Drechsler, and Kendra (Kurt) Schultz; three grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: John Drechsler, Marie Fiegel, Carl (Mary Beth) Drechsler, Margaret Hamers, and Dorothy Pilsner; and longtime friend, Candy Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Joseph and Henry.

A celebration of life memorial for Harry will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, beginning at 4:00 p.m., with a Veteran's memorial service at 5:00 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, 625 S. Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, WI.
