J. Ruedebusch Obituary

PLOVER - J. Richard 'Rudy' Ruedebusch, 55, of 2320 Springville Drive, Plover, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Whispering Pines surrounded by his loving family and Ministry Home Care - Hospice Services. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Burlington. Following high school, Rudy started a business rebuilding antique airplanes. Shortly after that, he became an Airline Pilot, which he did for 16 years, flying for Midstate and Midway Airlines. In 1991, he started a family business called Rudy Rack, building bicycle display racks, which is a successful, growing business today. Rudy was a nature lover, birdwatcher, fly fisherman, pet lover, and tennis and guitar player. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Survivors include his wife, Pat; son, Ryan (Bree Sharratt) Ruedebusch of Cupertino, Calif.; daughters, Sarah (Matt) Moris of Stevens Point and Rheanna Ruedebusch of Madison; grandsons, Luke and Logan Moris; and siblings, Ruth (Lonnie) Behrens, Bobbie (Dick) Wagner, Rita (Mike) Pechacek, Rollie (Anne) Ruedebusch, Becky (David) Uhen, and Mary (Jeff) Peterson, all of Burlington. Ron Essman (Rudy's brother-in-law) and Rev. James Trempe officiating. Private Burial services will take place later. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of service. A memorial is established in his name, in lieu of flowers, for CADASIL research, the rare, neural degenerative disease he suffered from.
