James C. Talsma

MOUNT PLEASANT – Mr. James C. Talsma, 77, passed away at Ascension All Saints on July 15, 2024. Family and friends are invited to meet on Friday, July 26, 2024, for a visitation to meet with his family from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A private interment will take place with Military Honors at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Due to family allergies to flowers, memorials have been suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Please see the funeral home's website for the complete obituary.

I believe this is the same Jim Talsma that I knew and played ball with. He had/has a brother George who I believe played Pro ball with that wicked curve ball. Jim knew Dave Groth who I went to school with at Horlick. Sorry that Jim had to go to Park High School. Oh, well. That was 60 some years ago. Jim was a funny guy. RIP.

We were high school golf teammates and close friends all 3 years.Our jr yr we won a regional that sent us to the state championship.I tied Mark Bemoski at the regional for 1st who became one of Wisconsin best golfers.Then mark and I met and we played up until his death Jim was the clue to our team always consistent and positive and we share Vietnam service I´m share he will be missed
