Jean Kasuboski Obituary

Jean E. Kasuboski, Nee: Breunig

August 24, 1930 - October 2, 2025

Jean Eleanor Kasuboski, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning October 2, 2025. Jean was born in Lodi, Wis., on August 24, 1930, daughter of the late Raymond and Eleanor (nee: Frederick) Breunig.

Jean graduated from Lodi High School "Class of 1948." On November 7, 1953, in Lodi, Jean was united in marriage to the love of her life, Henry J. Kasuboski. They moved to Racine, raised two children, Linda and Larry, operated the Kasuboski Funeral Home, and shared thirty wonderful years together before Henry passed away on Christmas day in 1983. Jean touched many lives while working in the pastoral care department at St. Luke's Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed reading, working crosswords, and watching game shows on television. Jean will be best remembered for her deep love and devotion to her family.

Jean will be dearly missed by her children, Linda Monaghan of Janesville, and Larry (Stephanie) Kasuboski of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; six grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Monaghan, Amy (Jason) Hammersmith, Stacey (Josh) Starks, Emily (Ryan) McNally, Courtney Kasuboski (Carl Spilly), and Allie (Thomas) Gay; six great-grandchildren, Whitney Monaghan, Cooper and Beth Hammersmith, Weston and Asher Starks, and Hailey McNally; sister-in-law, Mary Kasuboski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Monaghan; brother-in-law, Norbert Kasuboski; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Charlene and Glenn Schneidewind.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, on Monday October 13, 2025, 11 a.m., with the Rev. William Dietzler officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Racine Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. to the time of the Mass at 11 a.m.
