I have known Joey for about 25 years, but have been out of contact since the 90's. I will always remember my first "wrap" party he took me to in Hollywood and being on the set of "Cagney & Lacy". He was the best cook who could never cook for less than 50 people. He was so fun to hang around - even when you weren't doing anything. I know his family meant everything to him and I'm so sorry for your loss. God Bless, Joey. Love for you always.

To my best friend,
I will miss you with all of my heart. I will miss our long conversations and having you to confide in. You were always there for me, Joey, and for that I will forever be grateful for you. i was proud to call you my best friend because you had such a big heart, especially when it came to your girls and your family...you never gave up and you made the best out of life and remained positive throughout any challenge you encountered. You are and always will be my ray of sunshine.
Love,
Your West Coast Redhead
Jordan & Alex,
Your Daddy loved you both very much, never forget that. You are what gave him that twinkle in his eye and what gave him that zest for life. You two are always going to be number 1 in his heart, no matter where he is. if you ever need anything, I will always be here for you. I love you both very much. Keep smiling, your dad would want that.

~To my Superhero
I looked up to you since I was 6.
I once believed you could walk through walls.
You never let anything bring you down and cared about everyone around you.
Nothing could limit you.
You never let your amputation get in the way.
Physically, yes, youre not here.
But like any superhero.
You live on.
And continue to inspire those around you.
