Lee Zierten Obituary
Born May 16, 1941, in Racine, WI, to Robert C. and Jeanne (nee Rapps) Zierten, Lee graduated from William Horlick High School and attended Marquette University.
Drawing on his gifts as an artist and craftsman, Lee built a lifelong career in the commercial printing industry, rising from the bindery to the executive suite. He was happiest working with his hands, whether cooking, crafting knives, or building intricate wooden model ships.
Lee is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Lisa Zierten (Jack Salling) and Amy Zierten (Max Reed) of Columbus, OH, and Peter Zierten (Charity) of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; and siblings Mark (Ethel), Guy (Justine), Dale (Suzi), Diedre Dumont, and Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joy (nee Betko), and his brother Kent.
Lee will be remembered at a family Catholic Mass in Phoenix, date to be determined.
