Patrick McDaniel Obituary
April 10, 1925 - October 17, 2024
Patrick G. McDaniel, age 99, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at Pleasant Point Assisted Living in Racine, WI.
Patrick was born in Kaukauna, WI, April 10, 1925. Son of George and Florence (Golden) McDaniel. He was a World War II veteran, University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate and had a career of over 35+ years with the J. I. Case company.
On September 23, 1950, he married the love of his life Lorraine Gerrits. They were inseparable until she passed in 2011. Patrick loved to golf, spend summers at Silver Lake, travel and was a huge Packers/Badgers fan. He loved his time with his family and friends. A wonderful father and joyful grandfather.
Survivors include his children: Maureen McDaniel, Michael (Laurie) McDaniel, Kathleen (Duane) Wesenberg and Sharon McDaniel; grandchildren: Christopher (Jessica) McDaniel, Riley McDaniel, Mason (Caitlin) Wesenberg, Hilary (Bilal) Wesenberg-Naseer and Evan Wesenberg; great-grandchildren: Henry and Thomas McDaniel, Colette and Ren Wesenberg.
Private funeral was held. Memorials in Patrick's name can be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, Racine and Hospice Alliance of Pleasant Prairie. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Hospice Alliance for their dedication and loving care of Patrick.
