Robert W. Brown

RACINE - Robert Wayne Brown, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Peekskill, New York on October 15, 1951, the son of the late Oscar W. and Helen (nee: Edick) Brown. On May 19, 1973, Robert was united in marriage to Lillian F. Taylor in Racine. He was employed with Canadian Pacific Railroad, retiring after 39 years. Robert was a member of North Pointe United Methodist Church, National Railroad Historical Society, and Milwaukee Railroad Historical Society. He enjoyed photography, and was a rail fan. Robert considered himself an amateur historian. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Brown; daughters, Melissa Ellen Brown of Anderson, CA, and Elinor Marie (Eric John) Offerdahl of Racine. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial services for Robert will be held at North Pointe United Methodist Church, 3825 Erie St., on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 5 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Don Francis officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Robert in a special way may direct memorials to North Pointe United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.
