Yesterday

What an amazing man. He was so talented and students loved him. Two of my children were in the schools choir and my oldest was in his fifth grade. They all enjoyed being with him. His church singers often sang at our services and their hymns put a smile on our faces.

I received the news of the best neighbor one could ever imagine while on a long drive, with time to reflect. It struck me that in the 60 years I knew Bob, not only was he a great neighbor, but not once did he do anything even mildly irritating - a rare kind of goodness that says everything about the man he was. Rest easy, good neighbor - see you in the afterlife.

My dad was in the Racine Dairy Statesmen and th Church Singers with Bob. He hadn't seen Bob until a few months ago when my parents, Tom and Dolores Clazmer, moved to St. Monica's. My dad had some nice conversations with Bob reminiscing about their Barbershop days. Several weeks ago I was sitting in the St. Monica's common room near the elevators and Bob shared with me some of his wood carvings. He was so proud of them. We visited for quite a long time. He was a very nice man. May he rest in peace, in the loving arms of Jesus.

Mr. Gall was a living example of a follower of Jesus, and loved Him so dearly.
His passion for Christ Jesus was heard through the choirs he directed, our church and special events. Such a talented man, a bright star to All!! We had the privilege to be his friend.
