Bob was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jeanne Dittmann, on August 23, 1946. He served his country in the Marines during World War II. Bob enjoyed the company of close friends and neighbors, breakfast with the "boys," frequent drives through "God's Country" (Door County), and the constant pleasure of his favorite pipes. A decorated service man, a highly honored Boy Scout Master, an artist, a quite philosopher, and a truly engaging spirit. Bob lead by example and lived by his word.
